Bugs
So... bugs. Pesky little things. We do our best to test and get rid of them, but since this mod is a work in progress, there is a chance to find them in a new update that affects the content of the previous releases.
Save early. Save often
Always create a new save before entering a new location, especially prior to an important quest (e.g., before venturing forth to the Lost Chapel map).
If something goes terribly wrong—if a dialog suddenly stops, a character teleports mid-conversation, or a cutscene breaks—turn off Toy Box and reload an earlier save created before entering the location where the issue occurred! You can turn it back on later, once you’ve successfully made it through the affected part of the game.
This mod cannot perform global magic, such as disabling all mythic-specific lines.It simply isn't powerful enough, nor does it contain those types of injections.
But what may happen if there is a bug in this mod?
- A non-romanced character may become creepily attentive to the Commander;
- Companions may remember things that never happened;
- Daeran may fall silent and not continue his conversation;
- Greybor may suddenly decide to leave his family.
Content tags
There were too many bug reports and questions about content that was not related to our mod. For example, no, we did not add any of Woljif's content to Chapter 3, and his cutscene malfunctioned due to the incorrect Toy Box settings for his romance mod.
That's why we had to add content tags to mark the edited lines and the start of injections:

We understand that this decision may disrupt some players' immersion, as the content of this mod becomes visually separated from that of the original game and other mods. However, marking the start of the injections helped us to fix some interlinking bugs because it made it easier for users to understand what the mod consists of.
Starting with version 0.9.9e, players will be able to easily enable or disable these tags.
For now, they can be manually removed from the localization file.
Here’s how to remove the injection start tags from the English text:
- Locate the localization file:
Open it in a text editor such as Notepad, Notepad++, or Sublime text. Replace all {n}[gfr]{/n} with empty strings.
Be careful not to remove the end-of-line quotes, and make sure that the JSON file remains valid.
Original tagged lines look like this:"Value": "\"Thanks. It is good to know that my comrades and friends care about me.\" {n}[gfr]{/n}"This is what you should see after removing the tags:
"Value": "\"Thanks. It is good to know that my comrades and friends care about me.\""If you did everything correctly, there will be no tags in the mod’s content the next time you load the game.
To bug or not to bug?
If your Daeran remains silent, it's probably a technical bug that needs to be investigated. However, text and vision mismatches are non-technical issues that are much more nuanced, especially when multiple content mods are installed.
Feel free to write to us about stylistic differences or out-of-character (OOC) issues you suspect, but please note that we reserve the right to act on some appeals and reject others, since vision differences are often in play.
For instance, yes, we firmly believe that the idiom "rub off on someone," as used by Daeran, is grammatically correct, so no, we won't change it.
We do our best to match the vibe of the original game, but we cannot guarantee that our vision of the characters aligns with that of other content mods. Please check the Compatibility page for more info on modularity, mod compatibility and vibe check.
How to report technical bugs
First, check the list of all changes to ensure that the issue indeed occurs in a part of our mod.
Temporarily disable or uninstall Toy Box— here you can find more information about Toy Box compatibility—and load a save created BEFORE entering the location where the issue occurs. This is crucial if a dialog suddenly stops, a character teleports mid-conversation, or a cutscene breaks.
If the issue still persists, it may indeed be a bug. Please send us a message on Nexus Mods in either the Posts or Bugs tab. Do not forget to include the following items:
- A description and a screenshot of the issue
- The GameLogFull.txt
file from your latest playthrough when the issue occurred. This file is crucial in helping us investigate the issue. You can find the file here:
